Huntsover Farms offers a Board-and-Training package unsurpassed in quality and low cost expense. This ensures that every horse at Huntsover is being cared for, looked after and managed to meet the needs and goals of the owner. There are no hidden costs.

Huntsover offers in the Board-and-Training package:

  • Scheduled lessons, twice weekly
  • Professional training rides
  • Supervised hacks
  • Supervised daily turn-out on grass pastures
  • Blanketing
  • Light Grooming
  • Coordinated farrier, veterinary and dental programs
  • Injury care and vet follow-up
  • Mane pulls
  • Whisker and bridle path trims
  • Laundry of wraps and pads

    $850.00/per month

    Huntsover encourages all clients to participate in the Preventi-Care Program, co-sponsored by Pfizer and Dr. Roland Thaler VMD of Metamora Equine. This program is based on the premise that preventive health care is the best way to ensure a horse's lifelong health and well-being. The Preventi-Care Program emphasizes the use of preventive medicine in horses so that life threatening or debilitating problems can be caught early or averted altogether. Part of this program is the daily prevention of parasites with Strongid C 2x. Huntsover is able to offer this program at the cost of:

    $25.00/per month

    Huntsover offers a "Supply" program based on the assumption that no one can have everything they need stored in their tack box! This program also precludes losing, misplacing or "running out" of any supplies.

  • Brushes, disinfected and washed weekly
  • Grooming supplies
  • Fly spray, Miracle Groom, Show Sheen
  • Shampoo, sponges, buckets, sweat scrapers
  • Lead ropes, lunge lines, lunge whips
  • Poultice, liniment for legs, leg paint
  • Hoof dressings
  • First Aid supplies
  • Tack cleaning accessories
  • Stable and shipping bandages & quilts
  • Use of wool coolers, rain sheets, scrims, fly sheets, quarter sheets

    $25.00/per month

    Lessons
    Huntsover offers an individualized lesson program for those who are not currently enrolled in the Board-and-Training package.

    Lessons, 1/2 hour Private, or 1 hour Semi-Private $50.00

    Horse Show Rates and Services
    Schooling Fees, per day of show   $50.00
    Daily Basic Care
    Includes stall cleaning, feeding, watering, supervised care.     		  $25.00
    Daily Full Care
    Basic Care plus bathing, lunging, tacking & untacking, bandaging, blanketing, unbraiding, tack cleaning, etc. (COMPLETE - except braiding, riding or schooling).     		  $50.00
    Show Prep Fee
    Packing & loading trailer, wrapping horse, setting up & tearing down at show. This fee is waived for clients that assist in setting up.     		  $40.00
    Day Charges, Partial Care
    Packing & loading trailer, wrapping horse, setting up & tearing down at show. This fee is waived for clients that assist in setting up.     		  $75.00/
    per day
    Day Charges, Full Care
    Partial Care plus bathing, lunging, tacking and untacking horse, wrapping, blanketing, unbraiding and tack cleaning.     		  $100.00/
    per day
    (Note: If three or less horses attend a show, the Day charges will increase by $50.00 per day.)
    Pro-Rated Goods and Services at Horse Show, per horse
    Lodging for staff, expenses, feed & grooming stalls, stall bedding.
