Cindy Orr-Petherbridge, co-owner of Huntsover Farms, has been riding and
showing horses since she was a small child. After graduating from Wayne State
University in 1977, she attended Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship, in
Waverly, West Virginia, graduating after a twelve-month program with a Riding
Masters Certificate. After working for several nationally successful trainers,
she attended Eastern Michigan University Graduate School studying for a Master's
Degree in Primary Education. She and her husband, Leo, opened Huntsover Farms,
in it's current location, in 1992. Cindy has consistently trained riders,
horses and ponies to top local and national rankings. She is a board member of
the Hunter Jumper Association of Michigan (HJAM), and is currently working towards
acquiring her United States Equestrian Federation registered Judges' card.
Leo Petherbridge, having been raised on a dairy farm, is familiar with
the management and daily maintenance necessary to making Huntsover Farms run
smoothly on a daily basis. After graduating from high school here in Goodrich,
Leo attended Oakland Community College, studying Business Law and Criminology.
He served in Vietnam, acquired his C.D.L. license to professionally drive trucks,
worked in the UAW for 30 years and retired to manage Huntsover Farms on a
full-time basis.
Jenny Murray is the trainer and professional rider for Huntsover Farms.
Jenny successfully showed as a junior rider with Cindy, having qualified for the
American Horse Shows Association National Medal Finals and the A.S.P.C.A. Maclay Finals.
Jenny daily trains and rides the horses at Huntsover, as well as successfully
showing the Huntsover horses at horse shows.
